A community policeman has just made me cry. With laughter. The man’s a comedy genius. He kicked off on Twitter on 2 May…
“Having a look at my quote in yesterday’s Mid Wales Journal. Nice and stern. Another one for the scrapbook.”
“We are out of pritt stick so Ive put the cutting on the side for the wife to stick in the scrapbook later.”
“Lunchtime – the wife’s put together a home made cornish pasty. Delicious!”
“Pasty was a disappointment. Potatoes weren’t cooked and she’d burnt the crinkles. It went in the bin. Think I had better take a walk.”
“Back at home after a nice walk.”
“Irritated. My cutting has ‘accidentally’ disappeared from the sideboard while she did the cleaning.”
“Popping to the newsagents. That was lucky. Just one Mid Wales Journal left!”
“Going out to the garden for a bit to read the Stalin biography.”
“Couldn’t get into the Stalin biography. Watching Soccer Saturday instead.”
“Neighbours are having a barbecue and making a bit of a noise. I’ll give it 5 more minutes then have a word.”
“Isn’t that just typical. The wife’s only gone around to join in with the barbecue.
And my personal favourite for a PC enjoying a day off work:
“Something’s not right about that postman. Can’t put my finger on it.”
