A-level standards, GCSE results, dumbing-down, reality TV, and now phishing. The quality of various internet scams had been on a general upwards trajectory as organised crime gangs improve their people, processes and technology.
Opening the most recent effort to arrive in my in-box, I just couldn’t help to think that perhaps these talented entrepreneurs are reaching the ceiling of their abilities. Nothing wrong with it, no major typos, just not very good. Who, nowadays, is really going to fall for that beyond those too stupid to even be able to use email in the first place?
C’mon organised crime phishing types, try harder…
