Helen Holland, CEO
Helen Holland is the founder and CEO of The Reptile Group, including Chameleon PR and Komodo PR & Digital Communications. She has extensive experience of IT marketing and PR activities with her career spanning a 23-year history.
Listed in PR Week’s Power Book as one of the most influential people in PR, Helen began her career as a marketing executive at Piranha Software, a manufacturer of computer games. Subsequently she moved to PA Consulting Group where she worked with business-to-business (B2B) clients such as Lotus, Hewlett-Packard, Mentor Graphics, Harris Systems and Semiconductor. After four years at PA, Helen moved to Japan where she spent two years in communication. Returning to the UK she worked for a UK marketing communications company and managed PR accounts for clients such as Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and PeopleSoft.
In 1998 she established Chameleon and today the company, together with its newly hatched sister company Komodo, is one of the most respected technology PR consultancies in the UK.
Helen is a member of the PRCA’s PR Council, the newly formed PR Council comprises many of the most senior practitioners in the PR industry boasts, and will offer in-house practitioners a chance to take part in the PRCA’s governance procedures for the first time in the PRCA’s 41-year history.
In 2007 Helen attended the Business Growth and Development Programme (BGP) at Cranfield Management School for which she gained a scholarship from the Jennifer d’Abo Foundation, and continues to be heavily involved with Cranfield and BGP. Helen works closely with all the company’s clients providing strategic counsel to client PR activities.
