Steve Loynes, Managing Director

A technology PR practitioner since 1996, Steve Loynes has held in-house and consultancy roles and has considerable international PR experience. He leads Chameleon’s practice, driving the business unit and directing public relations campaigns for the likes of Citrix, Global Graphics, and Siemens Enterprise Communications.
Helen Holland, CEO

Helen Holland is the founder and CEO of The Reptile Group including Chameleon PR. She has extensive experience of IT marketing and PR activities with her career spanning a 23-year history.
Listed in PR Week’s Power Book as one of the most influential people in PR, Helen began her career as a marketing executive at Piranha Software, a manufacturer of computer games. Subsequently she moved to PA Consulting Group where she worked with business-to-business clients such as Lotus, Hewlett-Packard, Mentor Graphics, Harris Systems and Semiconductor. After four years at PA, Helen moved to Japan where she spent two years in communication. Returning to the UK she worked for a UK marketing communications company and managed PR accounts for clients such as Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and PeopleSoft.
Jonathan Simnett, Strategic Development Director
Jonathan Simnett has 25 years’ experience - winning in excess of three dozen awards - including leading Global Communications Department of the Year at the 2009 International Business Awards, New York - in helping private and public sector clients in fast-growth, business-to-business and consumer segments to achieve growth, build brands, enter new markets, and reposition through the delivery of more effective offline and online marketing communications strategies. His experience includes being vice chairman in the UK of Brodeur Worldwide, a global public relations consultancy and part of the team that founded and built a company of nearly 650 people and $95 million turnover worldwide, over a period of 15 years.
Mo Elnadi, Head of Social Media & Digital Strategy
Mo Elnadi is the Head of Digital at The Reptile Group, which includes Chameleon PR. and Komodo PR & Digital Communications. He has over 10 years of online marketing, media agency and consultancy experience including setting up an award winning social media community in 1998. Mo’s experience includes working with global brands within EMEA and WENA regions including Vodafone, Philips, Microsoft, Adobe, MobiNil, and ITWorx to develop and drive multiple online and social media value propositions from business model to post-rollout measurement, with a focus on search engine marketing and building social media presence and digital strategies. Mo’s MBA discusses how brands can create corporate strategies that would harness Social Media opportunities, and fully monetize their fanbase utilising new hybrid components of the digital marketing mix. He is also a guest online marketing MBA lecturer at the University of Surrey.
Jo Lee, Associate Director
Jo Lee joined The Reptile Group in July 2010, originally working with Chameleon’s sister B2C consultancy, Komodo PR, on technology consumer clients. Jo is now responsible for two practice areas – medical and marketing/customer insight. Clients in the marketing/customer insight practice area include Enterprise Feedback Management leader QuestBack; B2B IT social network Spiceworks; and customer insight agency SMG. The medical division includes leading drug and alcohol testing provider Concateno and healthcare specialist Westhouse Medical Services. Jo also manages public relations campaigns for technology clients including IT security and compliance provider Qualys and online backup specialist Mozy.
Jo has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and PR) from Curtin University, Australia, and 10 years PR experience in both her native Australia and the UK. Prior to joining The Reptile Group, Jo worked at a B2B technology and education agency, managing clients including Emap, the world’s biggest educational technology show, BETT, and Serco.
Sarah Wilkinson, Associate Director
A technology PR practitioner for more than 10 years, Sarah has held consultancy roles in EMEA and APAC. She is responsible for Chameleon’s Enterprise IT and Telecoms practice bringing her considerable experience of working with some of the world’s largest technology companies including Oracle, Capgemini and McAfee.
Prior to joining Chameleon, Sarah led agency-side campaigns for technology firms as part of her roles at GolinHarris in London and n2n Communications in Sydney. Her client experience also includes Facebook, Atos Origin, Capgemini and Sun Microsystems.
Sarah’s experience spans strategy and planning, internal communications, customer and partner newsletter development, issues management and media relations. She is a Loughborough University graduate.
Joanna Lane, Senior Strategic PR Consultant

Joanna Lane joined Chameleon in 2011 as a multi-lingual strategic communications consultant with over ten years of B2B communications experience in PR agencies with Brodeur Worldwide/Pleon and Bite Communications, handling flagship clients such as IBM, AMD and Symantec as well as medium-sized companies and start ups. In a short break from technology PR, she was most recently employed by Strategic Communication Laboratories, where she worked as a consultant for the Defence sector analysing target audience behaviours and communication strategies in conflict and post-conflict countries. At Chameleon, Joanna now brings to bear extensive international account management experience to EMEA coordination for Citrix as well as managing its global PR content generation programme. Joanna is also responsible for the strategy development and results-orientated delivery to deadline on a cross-section of B2B accounts including technology, green and financial services.
Lucy Houghton, Strategic PR Consultant
Lucy joined Chameleon PR in July 2010. She holds a BA in Politics and Communication Studies and an MA in Politics and Irish Studies from the University of Liverpool. Her MA dissertation was on Obama’s political marketing campaign and the impact of using social media. Lucy has previous experience at a B2B agency where she developed a strong understanding of the technology sector and was formerly a researcher focusing on public policy, primarily education.
Paul Crouch, Strategic PR Consultant
Paul joined Chameleon PR in September 2010 to work across offline and online PR, bringing experience of working with a wide variety of global clients in both online and offline environments. Paul started his career as an account executive at an online PR agency working with clients including Sony Ericsson, Discovery Channel, Bradford University School of Management and Unilever. Immediately prior to joining Chameleon, Paul worked in-house as a member of the communications team at leading technology research & development company QinetiQ where he established the company’s online presence and operated as a member of the media team.
Kris Towse, PR Consultant
Kris joined Chameleon PR in August 2011, with over a year’s experience in the technology PR industry. Kris brings experience in running national and international PR campaigns and events, having worked with the Corporate (Corporate Reputation, Social Media and Green) and Public Sector (Healthcare and Education) units of computer manufacturer Dell, as well as having worked with business to business online geolocation specialists Quova. Kris holds a first class degree in English Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and in his spare time is a long distance runner (when the weather permits!) and a keen traveler - having backpacked through Japan and spending 2 months in Beijing working for the Chinese social networking giant RenRen.com.
George Baggaley, PR Consultant
George joined Chameleon in September 2011 after completing an undergraduate BA in History, and an MA in Politics. His dissertation focused on the role of football in the Soviet Union. Prior to Chameleon George gained a range of media experience from internships at Raconteur Media, Dennis Publishing, Hayter’s and The Camden New Journal amongst others. He enjoys travelling and has conquered South America, Australia, Southern Africa, The Middle East and most of Eastern Europe.
Joshua Breckman, PR Consultant
Josh joined Chameleon in November 2011 after graduating from the University of Sheffield in July 2011 with an undergraduate BA in Human Geography. The main focuses of his university work included analysing the changing concepts of community and the role of geography within the media. Prior to Chameleon, Josh worked at the City of London Corporation in the PR Office as part of the Film and Events Team.
Michael Creane, PR Consultant
Michael joined Chameleon in October 2012 having previously worked on the PR team at the Royal Air Force Museum London. A BA History graduate from the University of Leeds, Michael’s dissertation focused on the division and ultimate demise of the Roman Empire.
A keen traveler, Michael spent a year living in Spain as part of his studies where he became fluent in Spanish.
Alicia Painter, PR Consultant
Alicia joined Chameleon in September 2012. She holds a 2.1 BA Hons degree from the University of Nottingham in History. She spent 2011 teaching English in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after she headed to South America to fulfil her ambition of learning another language. As well as a passion for travel, Alicia is a keen lacrosse player and bookworm. Prior to Chameleon she started her career as an Account Executive for a consumer PR agency, working with well-known brands such as SEAT, Nuffield Health, Strada and Regents Inn.
Charlotte Hodgson, PR Consultant
Charlotte joined Chameleon PR in November 2012 having previously held the roles of Assistant Editor and PR Officer. She studied English Literature at the University of Warwick and, after a year travelling South East Asia and Australia, gained an MLitt in Romantic and Victorian Literature from the University of St Andrews. Obvious bookworm associations aside, Charlotte loves theatre, running, opera, ballet and baking – not necessarily in that order!
Semone Kerr, Operations Manager
Semone Kerr is the operations manager for The Reptile Group, working closely with both divisions to provide a comfortable work environment and to implement policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of support to all.
Semone has developed a successful career within the all important back office of the PR sector for the past ten years. She started working as a receptionist for a luxury consumer agency in 2000 and quickly was promoted to office manager & PA to the CEO.
