Microgaming Deals Chameleon Global Brief

Chameleon PR announces it has been appointed to handle an international communications programme for Microgaming, the world's largest provider of online poker and casino software. Widely acknowledged as being the first company to develop true online casino software back in 1994, Microgaming now powers over 160 of the world's most profitable casino and poker sites, including the likes of River Belle and 32 Red. It also offers the world's largest online progressive network, Jackpot Madness and runs the world's largest poker network, Prima Network.
The account, comprising both B2B and consumer programmes, will focus on maintaining Microgaming's no. 1 market position, while driving awareness in emerging markets such as Asia. To achieve this, Chameleon will lead its own global network that includes Lotus Public Relations (New York) and Fulford Public Relations (Singapore).
Gavin Bisdee, marketing director of Microgaming comments: "We needed a step change in our communications effort in what is going to be another exciting year for the industry and we believe Chameleon can help us achieve this. Microgaming has an enviable reputation in this industry, but that doesn't mean we can afford to sit back and rest. Chameleon has been appointed to ensure we enhance that reputation in existing markets and drive it through into new ones."
